A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Goose Creek, SC area serving K-12 students. This contract position extends from January through May 28, 2026, supporting an itinerant caseload during a maternity leave assignment. The role requires an experienced SLP-CCC, holding active South Carolina licensure, with no consideration for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, evaluations, and screenings for K-12 students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver direct therapy services to students across varying grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current South Carolina licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Previous K-12 school experience preferred.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and adapt therapy to diverse student needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to working full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
